The Freighter EziLiner Draws Customer OneLiners

Some improvements in the Eziliner trailer curtain concept were on show at the Melbourne Truck Show. The system usesa single high tensile cable to tension the curtains, using mecahnical hooks to draw down the cable and secure the curtains.

In the past the mechanical hook system used a single motion but now the redesigned hook shape takes hold of the cable in two steps allowing the driver to stop the connection halfway through the process and check all of the hooks are attaching to the curtain. Read more »

Who are Sigtec?

Australian mobile computing solutions firm Sigtec has been named the first IAP Service Provider for Australia’s new Intelligent Access Program.

Sigtec say their expertise in real-time wireless data and GPS location-based solutions for transport, government, public safety and taxi industries enabled it to be the first company to meet the stringent requirements set forth by Transport Certification Australia (TCA), the company administering the IAP. Isuzu recall

A recall has been issued by Isuzu about their F Series range involving the trucks’ steering yoke pinch bolt.

A batch of F Series truck produced in early November 2007 may have a potential safety related fault. The fault relates to the steering yoke pinch bolt, this bolt may have been incorrectly tensioned during the assembly procedure and as a result the bolts thread may have been damaged. Read more »
