This is not a blip
The increased truck sales in 2008 are still holding their own the expected dip at the start of the year did not materialise, instead a prolonged rise in sales has continued through into May. Total truck sales are up over 1200 units compared to this time last year, according to the latest truck sales statistics released by the Truck Industry Council.
Peak industry body, the Truck Industry Council, has declared the first ever Melbourne Trailer Truck and Equipment Expo an unqualified success after more than 35,000 people attended the three day show.
